CTG's first geothermal heating project, the Da'an Geothermal Heating Demonstration Project, has fully commenced operations in Jilin Province. The project delivers warmth to 4,512 households in Da'an Town.
The project utilizes advanced clean technology to harness geothermal energy from depths of 70-120°C, transferring it to buildings through heat exchangers and specialized equipment systems. It introduces an innovative method to ground heating without need for water extraction.
Compared to traditional coal-fired boilers, it has the potential to save 3,822 tonnes of coal and reduce 9,388 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions per heating season. The project sets an example for clean heating solutions in high-latitude regions and plays a vital role in facilitating the green transformation of Northeast China.
